Occupational Health

  • Independent professional medical advice.
  • Highly qualified and experienced Occupational Health Physicians.
  • Providing an enhanced level of care.

Medical advice in sickness absence cases is often required by HR and line Managers in order to manage absence within their organisation, on an individual level. Although employees are covered by Med 3 Statements (Sick Lines) from their GP, there is strong evidence that many employers do not feel such absence certifications are fair and independent. In addition, employers require clear and reasoned advice about rehabilitation measures which are appropriate to the needs of the individual and the organisation.

Occupational Health consultations are independent, in that the doctor is obliged to give a fair opinion based only on the facts of the case, with advice given taking into account the needs of both the employer and employee.

ICAS Occupational Health services are delivered by Work Medical Direct Ltd, a subsidiary of ICAS, through their network of offices.
