New appointment at ICAS

NEW APPOINTMENT INCREASES STRATEGIC MARKETING INFLUENCE ACROSS EMPLOYEE WELLBEING PROGRAMMES

Jeremy Garman, formerly International Marketing Manager at ICAS, has accepted an invitation to join the UK and International Boards of ICAS as its International Marketing Director with full effect from 1 March 2006.

Jeremy has held a number of high profile roles during his career including Brand Marketing Manager at Gilbert Rugby International, European Brand Manager at Jockey UK and International Marketing Executive at Pentland Brands Ltd, where he delivered international marketing initiatives for the La Chaussure Lacoste brand worldwide. Jeremy also has a background in Human Resource Management prior to moving into the marketing field allowing him to identify closely with the core ICAS target market.

“Jeremy has accepted this new role with enthusiasm. The appointment reflects the achievements made by Jeremy since joining ICAS in June 2004, and the strategic role marketing will play in the future growth and success of ICAS,” commented Stephen Galliano, Managing Director at employee support and wellbeing specialists ICAS. Stephen added: “We welcome the opportunity to develop and roll out our tactical marketing proposition across our UK and global programmes.” It is double honours for Jeremy who is also celebrating his 33rd birthday today: “I see the role as an exciting challenge for me. There is a lot of potential to develop marketing ICAS further, and to impact on the way in which we service our clients around the world and across a wide range of industry sectors.

Strategic marketing, linked to our key business objectives, is of the utmost importance in making employers and their employees aware of the solutions available to a wide range of problems which affect performance at work.”

With more than ten years marketing and management experience working for top brands, Jeremy is well prepared for his new role. At Gilbert Rugby International he developed global brand and product advertising for the Rugby World Cup 2003. For Jockey, Jeremy developed innovative boxed packaging, including new packaging for a product launch into the FMCG grocery market, and managed the launch of the first outlet store in the UK. Jeremy has worked as a Marketing Strategy Consultant for More UK, where he improved the effectiveness of communications strategies and marketing materials for clients including the Leicester Tigers, Champion Sports and Scottish and Newcastle breweries. At ICAS, Jeremy has helped steer the direction of the company, including a re-branding of the company, establishing a new corporate identity, and rolling it out to international subsidiaries and license holders. Jeremy also created successful London and Edinburgh launch programmes for their new product (wellbeingworks™), which is the UK’s first integrated online and offline personal support programme for employees and will be overseeing the launch of future employee assistance products to market.
